The Northbrook Arts Commission is excited to announce a number of exciting events!

Plein Air Painting Festival – September 26 – 30, 2018

Come to downtown Northbrook to see dozens of acclaimed Midwest artists painting outdoors. The Northbrook Arts Commission will be hosting 40-50  Midwest artists specializing in Plein Air Painting on Wednesday – Sunday, September 26 – 30. The artists will create works on Wednesday – Saturday at locations throughout Northbrook, Glenview, and the Chicago Botanic Garden based on what inspires them. Each artist will submit their  best oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pastel paintings for exhibition, awards and sale to the public on over the weekend at the Village Green Center, 1810 W Walters Avenue.

 

 

 

Plein Air Painting WORKSHOP-  August 25-26 Weekend
Northbrook Artist Brian Sindler will lead a plein air/landscape painting workshop on August 25-26.
